Welcome to Solar Distributors Africa

SD Africa is proud of its record and leadership role in the development of the solar water heating industry in Southern Africa. Since inception in 2009 the company has supplied thousands of solar water heaters for various solar water system mass roll outs in the Western Cape and Gauteng. During these projects we have trained in excess of 450 local people in basic plumbing and solar installation techniques.  There are two core elements to our solar business - the supply of solar water heating technology to commercial developers, builders and resellers and turnkey contracts delivery to government, state-owned enterprises and municipalities.       
  
During 2013 we diversified our business to include water projects and have been successful in being awarded contracts by the City of Cape Town to participate in their unique and ground-breaking water demand management projects designed to eliminate water wastage and curb municipal debt for households in indigent areas as well as installation and relocation of domestic meters and provision of turnkey services for bulk meters.
